Zoho Announcement: Zoho Calendar Integration with Zoom, Microsoft 365; Feature Enhancements
January 5, 2023 — Zoho announced major enhancements to the integration between Microsoft 365 calendar and and Zoho calendar applications. Previous integration was limited to a one-way sync between the two calendars with Zoom integration being problematic. With this new release there is true 2 way synchronization between the calendars and integration with Zoom software.
Outlook Calendar Integration:
Zoho has introduced a two-way sync for Outlook Calendar. You can now have full visibility of your Outlook Calendar and also Create/ Read/ Update/ Delete events in Outlook Calendar while staying in Zoho Calendar. The two-way sync gives you real-time visibility in both directions. Not just that, Microsoft users can sync and schedule Teams/ Skype meetings based on the edition of Microsoft/ Office 365 they use, directly from their Zoho Calendar.
Zoom – ZCalendar Integration:
Zoho has noticed a lot of our heavy users that switch between Zoom and Zoho Calendar to sync their Zoom meetings in their calendar. To help with a hassle-free experience, Zoho has integrated Zoom and Zoho Calendar. With this integration, users can schedule Zoom meetings right from their Zoho Calendar.
Yet to respond:
All the event invites to which you are yet to respond will be grouped together in the ‘Yet to respond’ view. You can easily RSVP them based on your availability and relevance
Threaded notifications:
When you create events inviting a lot of people, each of their responses used to be received as individual emails which become difficult to track. Now all these emails are threaded into a single conversation, making it easier for you to view the different responses and plan better.
Update a single instance in repeat meetings:
You can now Edit a single instance of repeat meetings and also respond to the single instance. For example, if you have a weekly meeting every Monday 11 am and want to update your status as ‘May be’ for only one particular week, you can now update just one instance, without any hassles.
Furthermore, Zoho has launched a full-fledged Zoho Calendar mobile app, irrespective of whether you are an Apple or a Google fan!
